The town was painted smurf-blue by Sony España to shoot and of course to celebrate the premiere of the Smurfs movie. Since then, it has been a tourist attraction, but not many people know about it.
Juzcar is about two hours drive from Malaga airport and has plenty of things to do. You can also visit places like Mijas, with its beautiful geraniums hanging on the facades, this region attracts thousands of travelers annually.
